Star NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, who has been known to stir up controversy, is apparently trying to turn over a new leaf with his new team in Buffalo. He's staying mum on whether he has any concerns about the Bills' offense and his role on the team.

"I think over the years that's always gotten me in trouble and created some sort of division in the locker room with guys on the team," Owens said after practice on Wednesday. "I try to do the right thing now. And even when I try to do the right thing, it's not the right thing. I'm in a situation where I'm in a no-win situation."

When asked about having his 185-game reception streak snapped in last weekend's 27-7 loss to New Orleans, T.O. said, "Guys, all I can say is that I'm working hard, we're working hard as a team."

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens took one step closer in recovering from a sprained toe after working out and catching passes in individuals drills during practice Thursday. Bills coach Dick Jauron was encouraged by Owens' progress and said it's "possible" that the wide receiver will be cleared to start fully practicing next week.
“He looked good to me,” Jauron said, according to the Bills' Web site. “We’ll have to see how he tolerates it. As we’ve said through the whole process, we move forward and see how he feels and how he does. And he was really pushing to get on the field.

"Watching him, it looked like he moved well. That was a good sign. Now we’ll just see how he feels.”

It was the third straight day that Owens worked out and marked the most time he had practiced since jamming his foot during the Aug. 9 Hall of Fame Game against the Tennessee Titans.

You’ve probably heard of one. Terrell Owens wants you to meet the other. In an eight-episode reality series set to premiere Monday on the VH-1 cable network, Owens says he’ll present a counter argument to critics who portray him as a one-dimensional showboat perhaps known as much for self-indulgent sideline eruptions and quarterback criticisms as for being one of the most prolific receivers of his generation.

The Bills shocked the league months ago by signing Terrell Owens to a one-year, $6.5 million contract, after Dallas waived the controversial wideout. “The reduced attention should allow (Evans) to produce more big plays and get into the end zone more than three times,” said Jason Fritz of Buffalo Rumblings.
